There was a Press conference held at the Wilson Building, at 10:00 AM.

At this Press Conference among other things that was said, Councilman Marion Barry promised that the bill will not go any further until the committee that introduced the proposal to the City council meets with the heads of DCPTDA, Dominion of Taxi Drivers, and other leaders of the Industry.  There will also be hearing held by the committee.
